Work in Morskie Oko- one of the most iconic and recognisable mountain lakes in Tatra mountains- concerned checking the tourist pressure on this high-mountain pond (i.e. clean-water, deep reservoirs in which there should be no submerged vegetation) There are thousands of tourists visiting this lake- due to the amazing scenery, and relativelly easy access, annually.
The appearance of hydro macrophytes may be an indicator of pressure, among others in this type of lakes. The actual vegetation maps, in this case, MO were made earlier. Project goal is to monitor the succession or regression of found plants.

Seacraft scooters were used in order to efficiently move between the designated points for the installation of monitoring plots under water (steel bars marking the site for the control of the bottom surface with submerged vegetation).
Navigation consoles were used to reach predefined points, where monitoring plots are installed. Result of that is ability to reach all monitoring stations underwater, without surfacing- and no need to use an additional boat crew, or disturb the lake appearance with floats.
